With the arrival of Industry 4.0, the development of mechanical intelligence and de-artificialization, the development of the machinery manufacturing industry has been greatly impacted. CNC bending machines have also undergone revolutionary changes in their development. Computer integration technology is widely used in various applications. In the bending machine. With the elimination of ordinary bending machines, how should users in the sheet metal manufacturing industry choose new machines? ZYCO machinery manufacturer puts forward some opinions in this article and introduces torsion axis CNC bending machines and electro-hydraulic CNC bending machines to customers. The difference between bending machines.

1、The structure and principles of machinery are different

The design principles of the two models are different, resulting in different structures on both sides of the bending slider to ensure synchronization. The torsion axis CNC bending machine uses a torsion axis connecting rod to enforce the synchronization of the left and right cylinders when they go down, which is usually called (free equal height parallelism). We can only observe the parallelism of the torsion axis CNC bending machine ourselves. When there is an unbalanced load during use or there is a large deviation in the level of the machine, the parallelism will be impacted and cause mechanical damage. However, a small range of parallelism deviation is The error can be corrected through mechanical adjustment. We will introduce the method of adjusting mechanical parallelism in the next article.

A grating ruler is installed on both sides of the slider of the electro-hydraulic CNC bending machine. When the slider moves downward, its parallelism will be fed back to the computer by the grating ruler so that the accurate position of the slider can be calculated. The computer will pass the proportional servo valve Make adjustments to synchronize the strokes on both sides of the slider. The CNC system, hydraulic control valve group, and magnetic scale constitute the feedback closed-loop control of the electro-hydraulic CNC bending machine. The device that eliminates the torsion axis connecting rod makes the synchronization and parallelism of the machine more perfect.

2、Bending accuracy is controlled in different ways.

The cylinders on both sides of the torsion axis CNC bending machine adopt a screw rod and nut structure. The position of the machine when moving down is changed through motor transmission to determine the final bending accuracy. The screw rod and nut will wear out during long-term use, resulting in a decrease in bending accuracy. Variety. Severe deviations in the parallelism of the machine will also affect the service life of the cylinder.

The electro-hydraulic CNC bending machine uses real-time error feedback from the grating ruler, and the proportional valve group controls the synchronization and final downward position of the slide. Therefore, it is different from the torsion axis CNC bending machine in that it does not have any transmission device to affect the slide. The position of the block also greatly reduces the failure rate of the machine. The position of the grating ruler fed back to the system also enables the accuracy of the electro-hydraulic CNC bending machine to reach the highest current testing standards.

3、Machine running speed

There are two points in the work of the bending machine that determine its operating speed: (1) slide speed, (2) back gauge speed.

The torsion axis CNC bending machine uses a 6:1 or 8:1 oil cylinder, which is slow, while the electro-hydraulic CNC bending machine uses a 13:1 or 15:1 oil cylinder, which is fast. Therefore, the fast down speed and return speed of the electro-hydraulic CNC bending machine are much higher than those of the torsional CNC bending machine. The fastest downward speed of the torsion axis CNC bending machine is 120--150mm/s, while the fastest downward speed of the electro-hydraulic CNC bending machine can reach 180--220mm/s.Both machines have fast and slow down functions. However, the slow down of the torsion axis CNC bending machine can only be adjusted manually through the valve group, and the fast down cannot be adjusted. The electro-hydraulic CNC bending machine can be directly adjusted by changing the value of the CNC system. Fast and slow speed, and the operation is very stable and smooth. The back gauge speed of the two machines can be the same.

4、Machine processing technology

Electro-hydraulic CNC bending machines have very strict requirements on processing technology. The frame must be processed by the entire machine to ensure the consistency of the bottom surface of the left and right cylinders and the guide rail surfaces. The maximum error is within 0.01mm before the machine can be inspected. Torsion axis CNC bending machines usually do not have such rigid requirements. They achieve consistency through some technical means. Therefore, the processing process of electro-hydraulic CNC bending machine is more complicated than that of torsion axis CNC bending machine.

5、Machine strength

Due to the design of the machine itself, the torsion axis CNC bending machine cannot perform off-load bending. Long-term off-load bending will lead to parallelism deviation and torsion axis deformation. Electro-hydraulic CNC bending machines do not have such problems. The Y1 and Y2 axes on the left and right sides operate independently, so they can bend with offset load.
