The frame of the ZYCO press brake usually uses Q235B high-strength steel plate, and the groove form (V-type, U-type, etc.) will be designed according to the plate thickness to ensure weld penetration.
We use CO₂ gas shielded welding for symmetrical welding and segmented back welding (which can effectively reduce deformation), first welding short welds and then long welds, first inside and then outside. The main welds of the frame use multi-layer multi-pass welding technology, and the temperature of each layer of welds is controlled below 120℃ to avoid deformation caused by excessive heat input.
The frame needs to be tempered as a whole to reduce stress deformation.
After the welded press brake frame is initially cooled, the quality inspector uses a laser level to test the straightness of the key load-bearing beam, and the error is controlled within 0.15mm/m. At the same time, an ultrasonic flaw detector is used to perform non-destructive testing on the four main welds to ensure that there are no defects such as unfused and slag inclusions.
By strictly controlling the above links, the welding quality of the press brake frame can be ensured and the service life of the equipment can be extended.
